CSC Secretary General & French Ambassador Discuss Economic Relations
Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Saud Al Meshari received in his office HE Ambassador of France to Saudi Arabia, François Gouyette, where the two discussed mechanisms to foster trade and investment relations between the two countries.
The meeting, which was attended by Chairperson of the Saudi-French Business Council Dr. Mohammed bin Laden, touched on the positive impact of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s (MbS) recent visit to France as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to foster its relations with international trade partners. Al Meshari described the visit as an impetus for Saudi-French relations to move forward, particularly on the economic front, noting that both the Saudi and French business sectors have a significant role to play in this regard.
For his part, Mr. Gouyette praised the strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and France, culminated by MBS’s recent visit to France. He encouraged monitoring the results of the visit, urging both sides to maintain cooperating in exploring the latest opportunities in both markets.
Further topics of the meeting included the agenda for the upcoming French delegation’s trip to Saudi Arabia, the Saudi-French Business Council’s plan to organize a delegation of Saudi businesspeople to France, and holding the joint council’s meeting in Riyadh.
