Council of Chambers Discussed in Seoul Promoting Relations Between Saudi and Korean Companies

       The delegation of Council of Saudi Chambers discussed in the Korean capital Seoul ways to strengthen Saudi Korean economic ties, as part of the meetings held by the Council delegation of Saudi businessmen with  their Korean counterparts in which  they  discussed activating the role of the Saudi and Korean business sectors and enhance their trade and investment partnership .

     The Council of Chambers  organized a  high-level delegation of Saudi businessmen headed by Abdullah bin Ali Al Majdouie, President of Almajdouie Group in the Eastern Region. Also, Secretary General of the Council "in charge" Engineer Omar Bahalioh participated in the work of the sixteenth session of the inter-Korean Saudi Committee which was  held in Seoul last week, headed by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Dr. Muhammad bin Sulaiman Al-Jasser and Trade Minister of Korea.
     The delegation of the Council met Deputy Chairman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and discussed with him the development of economic cooperation relations between the two countries, means of developing trade exchange and enhancing ties between the Saudi and Korean business sectors, where they discussed  a number of mechanisms to activate cooperation between the two sides.  Also, the Saudi side urged  Korean companies to adopt the use of national products in projects carried out by  the Kingdom, benefit from various investment opportunities in different sectors, activate its role in training and qualifying national labor and transfer experiences and different techniques.


       In the context of the exchange of experiences and access to leading international experiences, the delegation of the Council of Chambers briefed on the distinctive experience  of the Korea Network Company for Foreign Trade and Electronic Commerce. Also they talked about its services for importers , exporters and traders in the use of technology field to complete the procedures of foreign trade and e-services in the field of trade which help in developing business and investment environment and facilitate trade.
     Moreover, The delegation  visited the Free Economic Area" Incheon" and saw the tremendous achievements of this region. Also, the Korean Investment and Trade Commission for Investment Commercial Promotion "KOTRA" organized bilateral meetings between Saudi businessmen and their counterparts in which they agreed on enhancing business and  investment partnerships  between the two sides
