"Women" of the Council of Saudi Chambers – 6 Pivots to Support Work at the Women Sections of the Chambers

Around (12) of the directresses of women centers and sections at the chambers of commerce have participated in the works of the seventh meeting of directresses of women sections at the chambers of commerce organized by the women general administration at the Council of Saudi Chambers held at Movenbick hotel hosted by Fatema Al Zahraa Center at Makkah Chamber of Commerce under leadership of MS Dalal Kaaki.
 
Within the events coinciding with the meeting, a training course titled "Basics of Strategic Planning" was conducted by Dr. Nayela Attar, included various workshops that coined the women general administration at the Council of Saudi Chambers and Fatema Al Zahraa Center as actual examples.  Haifa Al Hossaini, directress of women general administration at the Council of Saudi Chambers said the course is a part of the training programs organized by the administration to develop the administrative skills and abilities besides the strategic planning styles and institutional work of the women sections officials. 
 
Al Hossaini said the meeting reviewed the women general administration efforts to serve and support the women sections at the Kingdom's chambers of commerce and industry, most important implementation of the recommendations for supporting the executive staff of the specialized committees at the chambers of commerce, conducting periodic meeting in order to exchange experience for leveraging the roles of these committees and study of obstacles.  The attendees have viewed such an arrangement should be exercised by forming the specialized women committees for serving the various businesswomen relevant economic sectors.  MS Hend Al Zahed, directress of the businesswomen center at the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry has shared their successful experience in forming such committees and their works for interest of the attendees, in addition to the administration efforts in organizing delegates of the women sections at the chambers of commerce for visiting Gulf, Arab and international chambers of commerce to exchange experiences in various topics of mutual interest, besides presentation of the agreements signed by the administration with different entities and how to activate such agreements through the women sections of the chambers to accomplish the desired objectives and benefits.  The administration has recently signed a number of agreements with training institutions and entities in order to provide diversified training programs through the chambers to the businesswomen, female job seekers and other women sectors and conducted several successful training programs in which several women attended and participated. 
 
Al Hossaini has revealed that the administration is intending in cooperation with the chambers of commerce to prepare a report about support by the Saudi chambers of commerce and industry for "women working in the women supplies selling shops" in collaboration with the competent entities as a part of its efforts besides the women sections at the chambers of commerce to implement the relevant decision.  The report shall include several mechanisms such as training of selling in the women supplies shops. 
 
 
The meeting has discussed the plans of the women sections at the chambers for the year 2012 which included several activities and events.  The meeting participants have called for leveraging women participation in the specialized committees and common committees in view of reinforcing contribution by the business sector in development, enhancement of various economic sectors and solving their problems.
