The leadership of the work of the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Saudi business sector appreciated the great support given by - endorsed by God – King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to the national economy , the Saudi citizen and the business sector in the Kingdom in occasion of the seventh anniversary of the Declaration of Allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may Allah protect him - complimenting what has been achieved during these years of impressive achievements at all levels, especially the economic ones.
The President of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Engineer Abdullah bin Saeed Alambti said "On behalf of the Saudi business sector in the Kingdom I express My sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect him - and His Highness the Crown Prince, leadership and people of the Kingdom of this great occasion, which embodies the spirit of cohesion and true loyalty between the leadership and the people , as it is expressed the love and appreciation of Saudi people toward the efforts given by the King- may God protect him – to develop the country , its economy and improve the standard of living of its citizens. "
Alambti said "We have noticed in the private sector the great support that has been provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Saudi business sector and the different activities and precious trust developed by the leadership in this sector which allows it to participate in economic development efforts to become a key partner of the state, which he said it has enabled a balanced participation for all productive sectors in the development process and created an appropriate environment for the growth and development of those sectors and make them more competitive.
For his part, Vice President of the Council of Chambers Mr. Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Alhodaithy said that the memory of Allegiance passes this year and the Kingdom is witnessing many positive economic developments since the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during the past years took a wide range of decisions and actions aimed at restructuring and organization the economy, and update the regulations and legislation so as to enhance raising the efficiency and competitiveness of the economy and support the optimal operation of the factors of production, in addition to targeting the provision of a regulatory administrative and sophisticated framework and an attractive environment for local and foreign investments.
Also he added, that the most prominent features of these economic developments was a steady increase in the state budget, which reached this year around 690 billion and the distribution of that budget on human, economic and social development projects in various areas, in addition to the adoption of the state a policy of sector strategies in the field of housing, industry , food security, education, etc, added to resolutions issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques which aim to raise the standard of living of the citizens ,support the various casts ,provide job opportunities for youth and develop less developed regions.
On a related level, the Vice-President of Council of Chambers Mr. Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Rabiah congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Crown Prince, and the Saudi people on this occasion and said that the era of King Abdullah - endorsed by God - is characterized by many wise policies, most notably the policy of economic reform, balanced opening on the global economy, diversity of production, enhancing the investment environment, activating the systems and procedures and allocating technology and knowledge to serve the economic objectives.
Alrabiah added that these policies have enabled the Kingdom a gain access to the global reputed economic status to be among the top 20 economies in the world, and become an active member of the Group of Twenty and many regional and international organizations. Also, the Kingdom’s order has jumped in many of the indicators and the international classifications in the field of environment investment, its attractiveness and ease of practice activities, and those policies promoted economic activity in the Kingdom since a lot of development projects and economic cities have been established and all of that reflected positively on the citizens by providing more jobs and raising living standards.
For his part, the in charge Secretary General of the Council of Chambers Engineer Omar Bahalioh said that the wisdom of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah - may God protect him - and his good policies have put the Kingdom in a global status and made it clear imprint on the political, economic and cultural levels, including his initiative - endorsed by God - to spread the culture of dialogue among followers of religions, civilizations and cultures and dissemination of world peace. He added that the personality of King Abdullah and his different initiatives was the subject of global estimate as he won the award of world champion to fight hunger in 2008 given by the World Food Program. , Also, he had received the first rank among the most popular leaders in the Muslim world and chosen one of the ten most influential personalities in the world, and the third most powerful personality in the world in addition to winning the King Faisal International Prize for Service Islam in 2008 to emphasize the role played by him to serve Islam, Muslims and human in general.
